Jovanka Steele is the only English-speaking comedian of international stature, currently residing on the European mainland. She played nearly every well-known comedy club in the English-Speaking World and effortlessly conquered mainland Europe with appearences on such high-rated TV-shows as "Raymann is Laat" (The Netherlands) and "Comedy Casino" (Belgium). Her first Edinburgh One Woman Show (2002) was rated extremely high (c.f. Press Quotes below). Before moving to Europe she starred in "That's So Last Week" (Channel Five, UK) and appeared on Comedy Central (USA) and Girl's Night Out (Lifetime Channel, USA). She is currently working on her new One Woman Show, entitled: "Recovering American-An American Refugee in Europe".
